Here are the qualifications and qualities we seek in our candidates:
• Trained (NZQA Level 3 or 4 qualification preferred) and experienced in various care settings such as aged care facilities, hospitals, and in-home care.
• Proficient in using equipment and techniques associated with the facilities, including hoists, safe moving and handling skills, toileting, feeding, and wheelchair/bed driving skills.
• Possess a positive attitude and excellent people skills.
• Display common sense and adaptability in any situation.
• Maintain good communication, being accessible and responsive when available.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and availability to support our clients when needed the most.
• Ability to travel to the various sites we service.
• Experience in palliative care is preferred.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for caring.
